GENERAL INFO
A hunt can only be confirmed on the receipt of a deposit based on 50% of the total daily rate. Deposits will not be refunded unless the hunt is cancelled no less than six months prior to March 1st of the calendar year in which the hunt was booked. In the event of the hunt being cancelled prior to this date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

Hal Pruitt has hunted extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and is veteran of ten African Safaris. He is very familiar with the areas and animals hunted by Bill Lemon Safaris. Hal is easily contacted and can answer most of your hunting and travel questions.
PACKING LIST
At camp you will have access to a daily laundry service. Temperatures range from 32 degrees to 85 degrees. Bring long underwear for lion/ leopard hunting. Bring quiet clothes you can layer. Olive/khaki/dark green work well; no bright colours/camouflage, please.
Suggestions:
- 3 long sleeve shirts / 3 short sleeve shirts
- 2 pair long pants, quiet, not brush pants. Convertible pant / shorts with zip-off legs work well / 2 pair shorts
- 1 sweater
- 4 underwear changes / 1 pair long underwear, if you're cat hunting
- 6 pair socks / 1 pair camp shoes casual
- 1 warm jacket
- 1 hat
- 1 stocking cap
- 1 pair gloves
- 2 travelling outfits you could include the ones you wear on the flight to Johannesburg. No dress clothes neccessary. Rain gear is optional
Binoculars, camera with telephoto lens, high speed film if you are using a telephoto lens, spare battery for camera, sunglasses. Pocket flashlight for each traveller, extra batteries, sunscreen, lip balm and insect repellent and a small backpack for the field.
Kleenex packets, and hard candy or cough drops (especially for the cat blinds). A good book, your shaving kit and any medication you require. Bring a sheet of bubble wrap if you plan to bring souvenirs home.
Don't forget a voltage converter if you want to charge electrical equipment.
Your hunting rifle and approximately 60 rounds of ammo. Soft gun case. For Elephant bring solid ammo and solid or premium softs for Buffalo.
There is 12ga. shotgun in camp, but bring a couple of boxes of 12ga. #6 shot with you. Remember, Buffalo and Elephant require a .375 or larger calibre. Your light rifle should be in the 7mm to .338 range.
